National Arts Marketing

NATIONAL

The National Arts Marketing Project produces an annual conference, hosts monthly webinars, organizes regional training programs, and provides on-site workshops on a range of arts marketing topics. The website provides information, tools, and practical ideas to design high-quality, cost-effective marketing programs and strengthen arts organizations. The National Arts Marketing Project is a program of Americans for the Arts.

Grantmakers in the Arts

NATIONAL

A national network of private, public, and corporate arts funders, Grantmakers in the Arts provides leadership and service that advances the use of philanthropic and governmental resources to support the growth of arts and culture. GIA provides valuable professional development for arts grantmakers through conferences, workshops, and webinars; publications including the peer-reviewed GIA Reader; research and policy work across the field of philanthropy; and communication tools on the GIA website.

Creative Capital

Creative Capital supports innovative and adventurous artists across the country through funding, counsel and career development services. Their pioneering approach—inspired by venture-capital principles—helps artists working in all creative disciplines realize their visions and build sustainable practices.

Council on Foundations

NATIONAL

An active philanthropic network, the Council on Foundations, is a nonprofit leadership association of grantmaking foundations and corporations. It provides the opportunity, leadership, and tools needed by philanthropic organizations to expand, enhance and sustain their ability to advance the common good. The Council empowers professionals in philanthropy to meet today’s toughest challenges and advances a culture of charitable giving in the U.S. and globally.

Artspace

NATIONAL

Artspace is America’s leader in artist-led community transformation. With headquarters in Minneapolis and offices in Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington DC, Artspace runs a network of more than 35 affordable arts facilities in 13 states. Their facilities provide more than 1,300 affordable live/work units for artists and their families as well as a million square feet of non-residential space for artists, arts organizations and creative enterprises.

ArtPlace America

ArtPlace America (ArtPlace) is a ten-year collaboration among a number of foundations, federal agencies, and financial institutions that works to position arts and culture as a core sector of comprehensive community planning and development in order to help strengthen the social, physical, and economic fabric of communities.

Americans for the Arts

NATIONAL

Americans for the Arts is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America. With more than 50 years of service, Americans for the Arts is dedicated to representing and serving local communities and creating opportunities for every American to participate in and appreciate all forms of the arts.

Western States Arts Federation

STATE/REGIONAL

The Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) is a regional nonprofit arts service organization whose mission is to strengthen the financial, organizational, and policy infrastructure of the arts in the West. This is accomplished by assisting state arts agencies, arts organizations, and artists in their quest to serve diverse audiences, enrich the lives of local communities, and provide access to the arts and arts education for all citizens.

Scientific and Cultural Facilities District

STATE/REGIONAL

Since 1989, Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) has distributed funds from a 1/10 of 1% sales and use tax to cultural facilities throughout the seven-county Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. The funds support cultural facilities whose primary purpose is to enlighten and entertain the public through the production, presentation, exhibition, advancement and preservation of art, music, theatre, dance, zoology, botany, natural history and cultural history.

Spark the Change Colorado

STATE/REGIONAL

Formerly called Metro Volunteers, Spark the Change Colorado strengthens our community by connecting people with volunteer opportunities and building the effectiveness of nonprofits. They also provides training for staff and volunteers.

Latino Leadership Institute at University of Denver

STATE/REGIONAL

The Latino Leadership Institute (LLI) believes that Colorado is home to talented, successful and committed Latinas and Latinos who are poised for meaningful leadership roles in business, government and philanthropy. Participants collaborate on social impact projects with meaningful results and learn how to maximize their personal equity to influence public policy. The Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver connects its Fellows to extensive, power networks and provides mentors from among the most prominent and successful members of the Latino Community.

Institute for Leaders in Development

The Institute for Leaders in Development at University of Denver is a unique professional development program that identifies Colorado’s emerging nonprofit fundraising leaders and prepares them for the future.

Putnam Consulting Group’s study on “The Road to Achieving Equity.” Findings and lessons from a field scan of foundations that are embracing equity as a primary focus.

Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership Program

STATE/REGIONAL

The Downtown Denver Leadership Program provides an intense immersion in urban issues, policies and practices through an annual project that challenges the participants’ ability to research, analyze and collaborate. Throughout the work on the project, participants are also challenged to set goals and enhance their skills as leaders.

Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation

Community Resource Center

CRC helps Colorado nonprofits fulfill their missions by introducing tools, techniques and technology to increase organizational capacity. CRC offers a wide range of technical assistance and training services to nonprofits and community groups.

Colorado Nonprofit Loan Fund

STATE/REGIONAL

Administered by the Denver Foundation, The Colorado Nonprofit Loan Fund, formerly the Community Cash Flow Fund, has funds available for loans to nonprofit organizations to help bridge cash flow timing problems.

Colorado Nonprofit Development Center

STATE/REGIONAL

The Center’s mission is to foster the development of a healthy and vibrant nonprofit sector in Colorado by enhancing the effective and efficient use of community resources and by supporting the development of charitable projects and nonprofits. The Center was founded to connect innovative thinkers in the nonprofit sector who are having a positive impact; to fill gaps in the sector with well-managed programs; to insure financial accountability; and to develop leadership skills of social entrepreneurs.

Colorado Nonprofit Association

Arts Incubator of the Rockies Collaborative
