Rehan Hasan
Rehan K. Hasan Esq. was elected to the Foundation’s Board in January 2022. He is a corporate lawyer and trusted business advisor who assists companies as general outside counsel practicing in all areas of business/corporate law, tax, securities, and financing.
Rehan changed the business and tech landscape as an original founder of Galvanize, InCubate (the first US Cuban business incubator in Havana), and Kenzie Academy. He has mentored business owners for years through his work with The Unreasonable Group.
Known for being a champion of diversity, his service to the community has included work with the ACLU of Colorado, the Colorado LGBT Bar Association, and as founder of the South Asian Bar Association of Colorado and Muslims for America. In 2020, he received the “highly commended” honor from the Chambers USA for the Diversity & Inclusion Lawyer of the Year award. He has served as a member of the national and local administration of the ACLU, where he was recognized with the 2012 ACLU of Colorado’s Volunteer Leader of the Decade award. Rehan holds a LL.M in taxation from New York University School of Law.
Rehan was named one of the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and listed on GQ Magazine’s Gentlemen’s Fund. He has been named a Colorado Super Lawyer since 2015 and received the Exemplary Service Award from the Colorado LGBT Bar Association. To top it off, he is a trained actor and multi-instrumentalist who is a devoted advocate of arts and culture.
