Marion N. Chebet, MBA

Marion N. Chebet was introduced to Bonfils-Stanton Foundation as a member of its Investment Committee and then joined its Board of Trustees in October 2023.

Marion was a Senior Portfolio Manager for Johnson Financial Group. In that role, Marion was intimately involved in the formulation, execution and oversight of the firm’s investment philosophy and strategies. She oversaw the construction and implementation of client portfolios, sourced new investment opportunities, reported on client portfolio performance and managed the investments team. Marion also lead the Impact Investment platform at JFG, providing a financial return while making a positive impact socially and environmentally.

Prior to joining JFG, she worked as an Investment Analyst at Callais Capital Management, a private equity family office based in Thibodaux, LA. Her primary duties involved due diligence on potential transactions and financial modeling including sensitivity analysis. Marion also has experience as a Portfolio Management Administrator (PMA) and Performance Analyst when she worked for South Texas Money Management, LTD based in San Antonio, TX.  Prior to working at South Texas Money, she was a trader with King Investment Advisors.

Marion graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. During her graduate program, she was awarded the 2013 MBA Excellence Award. Marion is also a level 2 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate. Marion serves as a board member for For The Good Foundation and is also on the Investment Committee for The Denver Foundation and Network For Good.
