Grantee Profile: Mizel Arts and Culture Center
The Mizel Arts and Culture Center is the only performing and visual arts center serving east central Denver. The primary goal of the Mizel Arts and Culture Center is to illuminate the human experience through an array of cultural offerings including exhibitions, concerts, films, author appearances, theatrical performances, and literary and film festivals.
Signature programs include the Denver Children’s Theatre, the Wolf Theatre Academy and Summer Art Academy, JAAMM Fest (Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies and Music Festival), Denver Jewish Film Festival, and the Singer Art Gallery. In addition to the recently renovated 400-seat Elaine Wolf Theatre, Mizel facilities include 100-seat Pluss Theatre, a rehearsal studio, clay and art studios, and space for lectures and receptions.
Bonfils-Stanton Foundation offered support for the 2018 JAAMM Festival.
