Grantee Profile: Grantmakers in the Arts
Grantmakers in the Arts is the only national association of private, public and corporate arts funders that provides leadership and service to advance the use of philanthropic and governmental resources on behalf of arts and culture.
Grantmakers in the Arts believes that knowledgeable and informed funders create stronger arts organizations, improving the health and vibrancy of our communities. Primary programs for the association includes the annual national conference, web conferences, regional convenings, and communication tools that educate and connect Grantmakers in the Arts’ national network of arts and culture funders.
Bonfils-Stanton Foundation offered general operating support for the 2017 year – and also supports the 2019 Grantmakers in the Arts Annual Conference, which will be held in Denver.
The annual conference is at the very heart of the association’s annual slate of programs, bringing together more than 500 arts and culture funders, artists, and practitioners from across the country to share knowledge and ideas, learn about current initiatives in arts grantmaking and develop funding strategies.
