Denver Arts & Venues is on a mission to amplify the Mile High City’s quality of life and economic vitality through premier public venues, arts and entertainment opportunities.
Denver Arts & Venues operates some of the region’s most renowned facilities, including Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, the Denver Performing Arts Complex, Colorado Convention Center, Denver Coliseum and McNichols Civic Center Building. The organization also oversees the Denver Public Art program, Create Denver economic development initiative, SCFD Tier III granting process, Arts Education Fun, Youth One Book, One Denver literacy program, and entertainment and cultural events such as the Five Points Jazz Festival, and implementation of IMAGINE 2020: Denver’s Cultural Plan. Denver Arts & Venues is committed to diversity, inclusiveness and equality in all of their programs, initiatives and processes.
Bonfils-Stanton Foundation is proud to support Denver Arts & Venues by helping the organization bring the bronze monumental series, “Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads” by internationally acclaimed Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei to Denver. The outdoor exhibitions will be installed at the Voorhies Memorial in Civic Center Park from September 2017 through September 2018.
