Grantee Profile: Art Students League of Denver
Founded in 1987, the Art Students League of Denver (ASLD) is the Mile High City’s premier visual arts community resource for creating, teaching, and selling art. The League serves professional artists and students of all abilities, ages and financial means. The organization has the most comprehensive selection of fine art courses in the region.
ASLD’s programs cultivate artistic vitality and raise Denver’s profile as a center for artistic talent and production of new work. Programs include fine arts classes for children and adults; master classes and workshops; summer camps for children; a summer art market; art educator training; demo and dialogue series; and special events that showcase the work of faculty and students.
Bonfils-Stanton Foundation’s general operating support helps the organization continue its work as a catalyst for creative expression in visual arts in the region.
