The COVID-19 crisis is affecting arts and cultural organizations throughout Colorado. It has become clear that in addition to many financial relief efforts that are underway, there is a need for powerful, simple and consistent messaging around how Coloradans who care about arts and culture can support the sector.
The Arts Through it All advocacy campaign was launched thanks to a coalition of organizations including Bonfils-Stanton Foundation and Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA), Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD), Colorado Creative Industries, Denver Arts & Venues, and an array of local arts agencies and cultural districts.
“Bonfils-Stanton Foundation is pleased to partner with colleagues in developing and promoting this messaging campaign,” says Gary Steuer, President and CEO. “As a major funder of the arts, we will do all we can to help, but there is much that every lover of the arts can do to help in, during and after the crisis.”
The campaign is for the general public and other organizations who want to help the arts sector anyway they can with three basic messages:
- Forgo ticket refunds.
- Donate today.
- Support Colorado artists.
