Lauren Arnold has been Executive Director of The Adoption Exchange since January 2014. Prior to The Adoption Exchange, she was Chief of Staff and Interim CEO for the Gill Foundation. In 2009, Lauren served as the Chief Financial Officer at Visit Denver, the non-profit Convention and Visitor’s Bureau for Denver. She is currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors of Great Education Colorado and Treasurer for the Board of Directors of the Bell Policy Center. She recently completed a two-year term as Chairman of the Board of the Children’s Museum of Denver and served as Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of the American Red Cross, Mile Hi Chapter for six years. Prior to her non-profit career, Lauren was the CFO/COO for a venture backed energy company here in Colorado – restructuring and recapitalizing the organization for sale. She was also an investment banker with Credit Suisse in New York for many years, where she led Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions transactions in the Energy and Infrastructure industries and served as Chief Operating Officer of the Energy and Project Finance group. Before entering the world of finance, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines. She holds a BA from Dartmouth College, an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MA from Johns Hopkins University. Lauren, her husband and two young children live in Golden, CO.
