As the deputy director and chief marketing officer for the Denver Art Museum, Andrea oversees the Museum’s earned revenue strategies, including marketing and communications, as well as government affairs and strategic partnerships. She directs the institution’s technology initiatives and is currently spearheading a master planning and renovation effort for the Museum’s North Building. Andrea joined the Museum in 2001 as a public relations specialist focusing on traveling exhibitions and art-related programs. She led the communication effort for the Museum’s Daniel Libeskind-designed expansion project including local, national and international media relations, marketing and community programs. Andrea was an inaugural member of the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Emerging Leaders program and a 2015 graduate of Leadership Denver. Following her participation in Leadership Denver, Andrea developed an in-house leadership development program at the DAM—the first of its kind at the Museum. Andrea serves on the Leadership Advisory Committee for the Colorado Nonprofit Association and as a member of the steering committee for the Golden Triangle neighborhood plan. She has participated in numerous civic efforts including the Civic Center Transit Stakeholder committee and the Next Stage effort to reimagine the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
