Nonprofit Executive Leadership Survey

In 2004, the Foundation surveyed Colorado nonprofit leaders to develop a profile of executive directors, assess job satisfaction and current challenges, and learn about plans for advancement and/or succession.

The resulting Colorado Nonprofit Executive Leadership Survey demonstrated that the role of nonprofit executive is becoming increasingly complex, and indicated the need for greater diversity, more innovative professional development opportunities, new strategies to reduce the cost and inefficiencies of fundraising, and greater emphasis on succession planning.
