The Livingston Fellowship program – now in its 11th year – begins with the five new Fellows gathering for a retreat where they share their preliminary thinking about what leadership development challenges they want to tackle and how. Last week, the 2015 class held their retreat at Highland Haven Creekside Inn in Evergreen, Colorado.

The retreat enables the group to get to know one another more deeply and commit to supporting one another throughout the Fellowship experience.

The 2015 Livingston Fellows are:

Malik Robinson, Executive Director, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance

Stephanie Villafuerte, Executive Director, Children’s Law Center

Teva Sienicki, President and CEO, Growing Home

Rachel Basye, Executive Director, Art Students League of Denver

Cristina Aguilar, Executive Director, Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR)

Facilitating the retreat were Jesse King, consultant to the program, and Gary Steuer, President and CEO of the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation.

This retreat is always an exciting time to begin the leadership development process with a new class of Fellows. These are all extraordinary leaders and deeply good and committed people. It will be exciting to follow their progress and see how they work to improve the lives of our citizens and make a difference in Denver, Colorado and the nation.
